  1. Yes. If you sign a two year agreement on your phone the one time activation fee is $35. If you sign a two year agreement on your phone the one time activation fee is $25.

  8. Yes, most existing digital phones are capable of receiving messages, however, you may not be able to send messages or your phone may require a software upgrade to make it text messaging capable.

Our 5-day (120-hour) message store and forward network means that if you're on an airplane, driving through a tunnel, or re-charging your battery, within a minute of re-entering a Verizon Wireless digital coverage area, your messages will be forwarded to your TXT Messaging capable digital handset.

  10. Memory varies per phone - refer to your manufacturer's "Users Guide" for details. The number of messages that can be stored is determined by the amount of capacity available on your phone.

  11. There is no time limit for message storage so you may store them for as long as you wish.

  12. Press *86, SEND, and then follow the prompts. Some locations may require you to press # immediately when greeting begins to set up your voice mail.

  13. You can access your Voice Mail by dialing *86 SEND from your wireless mobile phone or by dialing your mobile number from any touchtone phone and press # and enter your Voice Mail passcode. *Airtime charges apply when retrieving messages from your wireless handset.

  18. When you choose Verizon Wireless INpulse (Pre Pay) service, there's no credit check, deposit, or long-term contract when you purchase a Verizon Wireless Inpulse phone. Using Verizon Wireless INpulse service is simple, too. Once you've activated your service just refill your account whenever your minutes get low. Plus as a bonus, each time you refill before your account expires, your unused balance will roll over to the next expiration date automatically!

  19. The time you spend actually connected to the Verizon Wireless Network. Airtime encompasses the time that passes between the moment you press SEND and the moment you press END. Whenever you place calls on your wireless phone, or retrieve messages, you're using Verizon Wireless airtime.

  20. A call that is disconnected unexpectedly. Sometimes, while traveling, your wireless conversation is handed off from one cell to another and is dropped. When a call is dropped, it usually means either that you've traveled into the fringe at the outer limits of your service area, or that your battery is running low and cannot maintain enough current to "hold" onto the signal transmitting your call.
